FFA Journey - Chapter 3
Sheros Dinner Kampala
The third chapter of the FFA Journey takes us to Kampala. After Berlin and Nairobi, Kampala marks the third point to draw our first collaboration triangle. Sheros from all three areas are connecting and interacting, opening doors for each other and embracing the collaborative spirit.
Uganda is among the leading countries in terms of female entrepreneurship and numbers of female founders. Besides that Uganda is an NGO favorite, being a focus project country for most international NGOs operating on the African continent. Enough reason to make it our topic for the panel talk: Entrepreneurship or Charity - looking at approaches to sustainability. The panel in Kampala was hosted by the fabulous Deedan Muyira.
This journey is about perspectives. Wherever FFA is happening, it can only happen with the participation of Sheros from the area in lead positions. The hosting team is led by Bijou Fortunate, who is an established brand in Kampala as a curator and event producer. Another powerful perspective comes with co-host Priscillar Atulinde, who represents the organization Viva con Agua Uganda and brings the NGO position to the table. Completing the Kampala triangle, FFA Journey host Onejiru Arfmann sets the global context and is the one who connects FFA across the continents.
Stay connected as the journey continues…
