FFA Journey - Chapter 2
Sheros Dinner Nairobi
Chapter two of the FFA Journey is written in Nairobi. A new hosting team is creating a new Sheros Dinner experience - sticking to our main ingredients: Dinner & panel discussion. In Berlin we opened the dialogue with the claim itself - Future Female Africa - what does it actually mean and how does it resonate with women of African descent around the world. In Nairobi we are taking a closer look at the African brand. What exactly is it? How does the creative industry participate in shaping the African brand?
The hosting team in Nairobi chose a beautiful off location in Rongai near the Nairobi National Park. Sheba Hirst opened the doors to her Rainmaker Studio & Art Residency castle for the FFA Sheros Dinner. Even the High Heels challenges were worth it.
Phy Ng‘etich has done an amazing job curating the Sheros circle for the dinner and panel. Krysteen Savane, who led the video production team, spend the day recording inspiring interviews for the Sheros Dialogue video series. FFF Journey host Onejiru Arfmann is in lead of exchange and collaboration - working out ways for Sheros to work together on interdisciplinary projects and empower each other across the sectors.
We are looking forward to making things happen in Nairobi soon.
